Who We Are

Vertex Consulting Limited (VCL), incorporated in June 2011, is a financial management service provider and business consultants as accountants, auditors, tax practitioners, Debt Recovery and training experts.

The company supplies any person or persons (corporate or unincorporated) with ideas, plans, strategy, information, statistics, and assistance suited to the establishment, expansion, proper conduct and prudent running of any business. VCL organizes, holds, promotes, and sponsors lectures, seminars, symposia, workshops and other media for the exchange and dissemination of information useful to business. The company conducts programmes for the training and development of manpower, by means of workshops, seminars or online, e.t.c.

In addition to the professional certification of the promoters of VCL in auding, tax and finance, Vertex Consulting Limited, as a company, is a corporate member of the Institute of Debt Recovery Practitioners of Nigeria and has been professionally assisting several corporate bodies in the Finance, Telecommunication and Energy industries to recover their debts from stubborn and unwilling debtors.

At Vertex Consulting Limited, we have a dedicated team of Chartered Accountants, Chartered Bankers, Chartered Tax Practitioners, Chartered Debt Recovery Practitioners and Professional Lawyers, who all work together towards achieving the firm’s corporate goals as well as ensuring that we deliver successful, efficient and effective results to our clients.

Segun Onagoruwa

Segun Onagoruwa is the Managing Consultant/CEO of Vertex Consulting Limited He is a finance and accounting specialist.

Segun holds an M.Sc. Finance from the University of Lagos, Akoka, an MBA from the Federal University of Technology, Akure and a B.Sc. Accounting from Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and a Fellow of the Institute of Debt Recovery Practitioners of Nigeria.

Segun worked in many commercial banks for over 17 years – Equitorial Trust Bank (now Sterling Bank), Ecobank Nigeria Plc, United Bank for Africa Plc, Afribank Plc (now Skye Bank) and Union Bank of Nigeria Plc. As a banker, he worked in various functions, including, corporate banking, commercial banking, retail banking and agency banking.

Adedoyin Ewedemi

Doyin is a trained legal practitioner with many years of experience in corporate and commercial practice. He is responsible for a number of successful commercial transactions especially in employment related matters. He has advised several entities on their labour relations with their employees of diverse backgrounds and creed.

He has also provided advisory services to corporate bodies in establishing top of the range structures and systems responsible for a seamless operation in those organizations

Oladele Ojo

Oladele Ojo is a Non-Executive Director of Vertex Consulting Limited He has strong managerial background with senior level experience and cross sector exposure.

Dele is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria as well as Informatics Learning Institute, Singapore. He has an M.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Lagos, Akoka and a B.Sc. Accounting from Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos.

Dele is currently the Deputy Director (Finance & Accounts) with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
